Why do we need your information?

The BAROSA Group will treat your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Client management

The BAROSA Group is dedicated to the sale of food products and the provision of ancillary services to the activity, such as transportation, through our facilities, commercial technicians, or digital media. The processing of your data is necessary for the fulfillment of the purchase and sale contract or the provision of services to be concluded between you and the BAROSA Group, or for the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request.

Company video surveillance

The BAROSA group has a video surveillance system on its premises, duly marked. The installation of this system complies with Art. 5 of Dec. Law 135/2014 of 8 September and Art. 115 of Ordinance 273/2013 of 20 August.

The recordings of images obtained by the video surveillance system are preserved, in a system with access control, for a period of 30 days counted from the respective capture, after which they are destroyed (without prejudice to conservation for a longer period in the case of a judicial process).

  • To suppliers for statistical and/or promotional activity management purposes;
  • To third-party service providers of the BAROSA Group

Right of access

The data subject has the right to request from the BAROSA Group confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them are being processed and, if so, to access their personal data and the information provided for by law.

If you wish to obtain more than one copy of your personal data being processed, the BAROSA Group may subject this service to a fee to cover administrative costs.

Right to rectification

The data subject has the right to obtain from the BAROSA Group, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning him or her.

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

3)      Due to legal reasons, it is not possible to carry out certain erasures (or "to be forgotten"), for example, during a specific period of time.

Right to restriction of processing

The data subject has the right to obtain from Grupo BAROSA the restriction of processing where one of the following applies, namely:

  • Contesting the accuracy of personal data, for a period enabling the BAROSA Group to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
  • The processing is lawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead;
  • The BAROSA Group no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but the data is required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • If you have objected to the processing, pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
