SYRACUSE LEMON - ITALY
The “Femminello Siracusano” lemon, a variety permitted by the regulations of the Limone di Siracusa Igp Consortium, is of excellent quality and much appreciated throughout the world for its aromatic characteristics. Thanks, in fact, to its extremely high number of sebaceous glands (small pockets in the peel of the citrus fruit, which contain the essential oils and produce the aromas), the fine grain of its peel and a particularly thin pith, the production of Syracusan lemons is envied the world over. The Femminello Siracusano lemon cultivar blooms three times a year: the “Primofiore” occurs between October and May; the “Bianchetto” in April, May and June, and the “Verdello” in July, August and September.
SPREA® SPRINGS WATER
Yes, you read that correctly. Like you, we choose to make our ice creams and Sicilian granita with water from the “Sparea®” springs. This water is born in a unique niche in the Piedmontese Alps and is extremely light and pure - ideal to accompany the organic farm fruit, Mura Mura®. We're a bit crazy... but you can certainly taste the difference!
