Broad beans (350g) [Iglo]
Iglo takes special care with its broad beans, freezing them as quickly as possible on the day of harvest so that they retain the maximum amount of nutrients. To bring you the tastiest broad beans, just like in Portugal, we harvest our broad beans at the ideal stage of ripeness and freeze them in a quick period of time to ensure that all the flavour, nutrients and quality remain intact.
To preserve all their nutritional value, we recommend preparing broad beans in very little water.
For 2 portions (160g). Without defrosting, place the product in a microwave-safe container and add 3 tablespoons of water. Place in the microwave for 7 minutes at a power of 750W.
NOTE : The times mentioned are taken as average values, depending on the microwave used.
Traditional way:
Put the broad beans in a pan of boiling salted water. Bring to the boil again and cook for 10 minutes.
